A local authority in the heart of England covering Lichfield city, Burntwood and many towns and villages across Lichfield district. We provide local services to more than 100,000 residents, including waste and recycling bin collections, planning, building control, leisure centres, elections, housing and homelessness support, parks and open spaces, tourist information and development, business growth and support and more. Lichfield district is a beautiful place to live and work, with its historic city centre which has the impressive Lichfield Cathedral and is the birthplace of Samuel Johnson. We are also lucky to have stunning countryside with lots of places to visit nearby, including the National Memorial Arboretum, Chasewater Country Park, Drayton Manor Theme Park and Fradley Junction.
